We provide service to our customers 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. If you are experiencing an emergency after hours, stay on the line to reach the answering service.
Emergency/after hours service is available from 5PM to 7:30AM Monday – Friday and from 5PM Friday night until 7:30AM Monday mornings. Please refer to the following to determine if you need a technician out immediately.
What’s considered an emergency?
- You smell propane in or around your home/tank
- You see/smell fuel oil in your basement, near your heating unit or outside near your tank
What can you do prior to our arrival? Shut off the fuel supply at the tank.
If you have a propane tank, go to the dome, lift the lid and turn the wheel to the right (clockwise) until it’s tight. Watch the video on this page for more information.
If you have an oil tank, locate the valve and turn it to the right (clockwise), until it’s tight.
If you have fuel oil leaking from your oil tank or your heating unit, place a plastic container, or at the very least towels, to catch any drips until a professional arrives.
- The heating unit is smoking or omitting odors
- There is black smoke coming out of the chimney
- There is water out of the relief valve or other parts of the heating unit
